Indonesia’s West Papua protests turn violent

Demonstrations in Indonesia’s West Papua region have turned violent with protesters burning public facilities and blocking roads.
The protesters are angry at what they say is police abuse against ethnic Papuan students.
West Papua occupies the western part of the island of Papua New Guinea – and has been disputed since the end of Dutch rule.
Al Jazeera’s Andrew Chappelle reports.
